Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) today announced that it was awarded the 2011 Footwear Plus Award for Design Excellence in the Children’s category at the 13th Annual Plus Awards presented by Footwear Plus, the industry’s leading fashion magazine.

The 2011 awards were presented in New York City Feb. 2 as part of an “Industry Appreciation” party co-sponsored by the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY). Approximately 300 industry members, including a broad range of retailers came together for the event, with thousands more casting votes online over the past several weeks to pick this year’s winners.

This year there were 20 Plus Award categories, spanning the breadth of the footwear market, including children’s, athletic, dress, comfort, boots and wellness categories. Crocs was honored as the winner of the Children’s category.
