CTG (NASDAQ: CTGX), an international information technology (IT)
solutions and services company, announced today that it was named
by Healthcare Informatics to its annual ranking of the 100 largest
healthcare IT providers, the Healthcare Informatics 100 (HCI 100).
CTG was named to the HCI 100 list based on its 2009 revenue from
the healthcare provider market. In addition to other large
healthcare IT consulting firms, the list includes the leading
hospital information systems companies and other healthcare-related
software firms. CTG ranked 69th on the list overall and 7th of the
companies generating 100% of 2009 healthcare provider revenue from
consulting services. The HCI 100 list appears in the June 2010
issue of Healthcare Informatics, a leading CIO-level publication
published by the Vendome Group, that specializes in issues of
system selection, project management, enterprise integration,
change management, and budgeting for healthcare organizations.
“We are pleased to again be recognized by Healthcare Informatics
as one of the 100 largest suppliers of healthcare IT to the
provider market. CTG was also recently cited in Information Week as
one of the top three firms for healthcare organizations looking for
help in implementing electronic medical records and other health IT
investments," said James R. Boldt, CTG Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer. “At 27% of total revenue in 2009 and in the 2010 first
quarter, healthcare is a very significant part of CTG’s overall
business and the major focus of our growth efforts. Electronic
medical records projects are currently the primary driver of growth
in our healthcare business representing 11% of CTG’s total revenue
in the 2010 first quarter.”
Healthcare Informatics compiled the HCI 100 list based on 2009
healthcare IT revenue from companies supporting the technology
needs of healthcare organizations. For more information about the
