CHEVIOT, Ohio, Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cheviot Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: CHEV), holding company of Cheviot Savings Bank, has declared its dividend for the 3rd Quarter of 2011.  The Company will pay a dividend of $0.12 per share to stockholders of record September 15, 2011.  The dividend will be paid September 30, 2011.  

Cheviot MHC, the Company's mutual holding company parent, will waive receipt of the dividend.

Cheviot Financial Corp. is traded on the NASDAQ under the symbol CHEV.
