California Micro Devices Presents September Quarter Guidance MILPITAS, Calif., Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- California Micro Devices (NASDAQ:CAMD) today presented its financial outlook for the second fiscal quarter of 2005, which ends September 30, 2004. Revenue is expected to be between $16.3 and $16.7 million compared to $16.5 million in the prior quarter and $14.9 million in the same quarter a year ago. Diluted earnings per share are expected to be between $0.08 and $0.09 compared to $0.09 in the prior quarter and $0.04 a year ago. "We expect revenue from our Mobile products to be modestly to moderately higher than last quarter as sequential growth in revenue from major OEM customers, as a group, is partially offset by flat to slightly lower revenue from Chinese handset suppliers and Asian ODMs. Revenue from our Computing and Digital Consumer products is expected to be flat to slightly down sequentially this quarter," said Robert V. Dickinson, president and CEO. "The anticipated decline in revenue from our Medical devices this quarter that we have previously discussed should be largely offset by a one time spike in revenue from Other products. We also expect both core and total bookings to increase from last quarter while design win activity continues at a strong pace slightly below the record level of last quarter."
