Black Box Corporation Announces Acquisition of Quanta Systems, LLC

Black Box Corporation (NASDAQ:BBOX) today announced the
acquisition of Quanta Systems, LLC (Quanta), a privately-held
company headquartered in Gaithersburg, MD. Quanta has an active
customer base which includes various United States Department of
Defense and government agency accounts. Annual historical revenues
of Quanta are approximately $12 million.
Black Box acquired Quanta from CompuDyne Corporation, a
portfolio company of the Los Angeles-based private equity fund The
Gores Group.
