Asure Software's Latest iEmployee Time & Attendance Release Increases Interoperability With Time Clock Hardware Manufacturers
February 05 2009 - 9:00AM
Marketwired
Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR), a leading provider of workforce
management software, announced the release of a new Application
Program Interface (API) to its iEmployee Labor and Time Management
product that will increase its interoperability with time clock
manufacturers, which will ultimately give customers even more
choices.
The latest release of iEmployee's Time & Attendance API
expands on the EasyTouch Time Clock (ETTC) and allows customers to
use their existing clock hardware without incurring the cost of
procuring new hardware and retraining employees to use it. This
increased compatibility offers businesses a way to improve the
accuracy of their Time & Attendance recordkeeping without
incurring the additional cost of new time clock hardware. This
release also benefits clock hardware manufacturers, who now have
another integration option that is optimized to serve the
mid-market, not just enterprise-level customers.
Customers can use the EasyTouch Time Clock (ETTC) off the shelf,
work with iEmployee to configure ETTC to function with their
existing time clock hardware, or customize it to function with a
different time clock manufacturer of their choosing.
"The release of the ETTC was just one example of our ability to
align with the needs of our customers," said John Stockton,
iEmployee's Vice President of Product Management. "Even with the
success of the ETTC, we realized that there were still many
customers who want to change their Time & Attendance solution,
but don't want to change their hardware because of the cost. With
our new API, we now have a unique value proposition for iEmployee
and it demonstrates our commitment to supporting the business needs
of our customers. Additionally, this makes iEmployee more
attractive to hardware vendors that are looking to partner
successfully within both the mid-market and enterprise Time &
Attendance space -- it's really a win-win situation for
everyone."
