ARRIS Appoints Clayton 'Brant' Sharp as VP, Tax

SUWANEE, Ga., Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS (NASDAQ:ARRS),
today announced that Clayton "Brant" Sharp has been appointed Vice
President, Tax, reporting to ARRIS Chief Financial Officer, David
Potts. Sharp joins ARRIS from Teleflex Inc, a diversified
industrial company engaged in the design, manufacture, and global
distribution of specialty- engineered products, where he was Vice
President, Tax. Previously, he led the tax function at
Georgia-based Roper Industries and served as Assistant Director of
Tax at Rollins Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia
and is a C.P.A. "ARRIS' success in the marketplace has resulted in
