On February 2, 2010, Steven R. Altman informed our Board of Directors that, due to other commitments, he would not be standing for re-election to our Board at our 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders.

The Board has nominated the following directors for re-election at our 2010 Annual Meeting of Stockholders:  Adrian Adams, Teresa Beck, M. Kathleen Behrens, Ph.D., Daniel M. Bradbury, Paul N. Clark, Paulo F. Costa, Alexander Denner, Ph.D., Karin Eastham, James R. Gavin III, M.D., Ph.D., Jay S. Skyler, M.D., MACP and Joseph P. Sullivan.
