MSE ENVIRO-TECH CORP. (PINKSHEETS: MEVT) (FRANKFURT: MEH) reports that it is engaged in discussions regarding potential inclusion of Hartindo Ant-Fire solutions in selected major product lines. The discussions are pointed towards investigating and, ultimately, incorporating the use of the Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor in the manufacturing of these selected products to provide valuable fire protection heretofore unavailable. Everyone agrees that, given the tragic losses of life and property through fires every year, the need for improved fire protection in a wide range of products and materials is critical.

MARKETING IMPETUS

MSE's current marketing efforts follow on the success achieved last October with the signing of a multimillion dollar Agreement to supply WoodSmart Solutions, Inc. with Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor, to be used by WoodSmart in manufacturing its new, fire-protected BluWood Plus for the wood building products industry across North America. Recently launched BluWood Plus incorporates Hartindo AF21 into WoodSmart's successful BluWood formula to add the valuable element of fire safety to wooden components that are being protected against mold and mildew, wood rot, termites and other wood-ingesting insects via the successful BluWood process. Apart from WoodSmart's wooden building components sector, numerous other industrial and manufacturing applications being pursued by MSE Enviro-Tech, and which do not infringe upon the multiyear contract signed with WoodSmart, offer significant potential to expand the sales and use of the Company's Hartindo Anti-Fire solutions across North America.

HARTINDO AF21

MSE's water-based, non-toxic Hartindo AF21 is an effective and environmentally friendly fire inhibitor when applied to a wide range of materials, including wood, fabrics, films and many synthetics. Unlike conventional fire retardants that merely delay the start of fire, AF21 is a Total Fire Inhibitor, "TFI," rendering treated materials non-flammable. The Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor was awarded a Class A rating following an ASTM E-84-07 Surface Burning Test on wood, and also met the requirements of NPFA 701, Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Flame Propagation of Textiles and Films. AF21 has also passed the requirements of the new U.S. National Flammability Standard for Mattresses through independent testing.

MSE Chairman and CEO Gilles A. Trahan noted, "Market recognition of the Hartindo Anti-Fire capabilities is beginning to gather steam across North America and we are optimistic that both Hartindo AF21 and Hartindo AF31 will achieve significant inroads into major market applications in 2009 and beyond. We wish to take this opportunity to also express our appreciation to all shareholders for their continued support during this start-up phase of their company, and wish each of you a Healthy and Successful New Year."
