Glencore to Supply BMW With Cobalt from Australia Mine

Glencore PLC (GLEN.LN) has signed an agreement to supply BMW AG
(BMW.XE) with cobalt from its Murrin Murrin nickel project in
Australia.
A spokesperson for the miner and commodities trader confirmed
the agreement on Wednesday but didn't say how much cobalt Glencore
will be supplying to the German car maker.
Last year the Murrin Murrin mine produced 2,900 metric tons of
cobalt.
