U.S. Hot Stocks: Hot Stocks to Watch

Among the companies with shares expected to trade actively in
Wednesday's session are SunEdison Inc. (SUNE) and Towers Watson
(TW).
SunEdison Inc. said Wednesday that a subsidiary would extinguish
$336 million in exchangeable notes, with holders of the debt
getting interest in renewable energy assets under development and
shares of TerraForm Power Inc., one of the renewable energy
development company's two yieldcos, in exchange. Shares rose 8.96%
to $5.46 in premarket trading.
Willis Group CEO says a "merger of equals' with Towers Watson is
expected to be completed in early 2016. Towers Watson shares rose
1.01% to $131.25 premarket.
Bank of America Corp. (BAC) expects to post a pretax write-down
of roughly $600 million in the fourth quarter related to the
redemption of $2 billion of trust preferred securities. Shares fell
0.46% to $17.20 premarket.
Activist investor Carl Icahn has apparently won the bidding war
for the Pep Boys--Manny, Moe & Jack (PBY) after Bridgestone
Corp. said it wouldn't counter his latest bid for the auto parts
and repair chain. Shares fell 2.69% to $18.43 premarket.
