(OTCBB:ECOB) announced today that it is working with the Welco Lumber Corporation of Vancouver British Columbia, Canada on developing a shipping program of EcoBlu's BLUWOOD™ coated lumber into the Asian market. Welco Lumber and EcoBlu Products, Inc. have met jointly with a large Japanese builder, producing 400 homes per month, last week and are scheduled to meet next week in British Columbia with a Korean lumber company.

Welco Lumber has been supplying building materials to the Japanese market for some time but has recently made the decision to introduce EcoBlu's BLUWOOD™ technology to be able to offer the Japanese market protection from mold, rot, decay and termites, and provide a higher quality home.

Japan imports approximately 20,000 containers of Canadian SPF (Spruce-Pine-Fir) lumber per year. Additionally, Japan is the largest importer of softwood logs and lumber in the world, and the Asia-Pacific region is the second-largest export market for Canadian lumber, with Japan by far the leading market in the region.
