Venus de Miles, Colorado’s first and best all-women’s bike ride and celebration of sisterhood, will be holding its 17th annual event on Sat., Aug. 24 at Bohn Park, located at 199 2nd Ave., in Lyons, Colo.

This year, the event will have three course options, each with scenic views of the beautiful Colorado front range. Riders choose from a 30-mile course, a new 48-mile course, and the popular 64-mile circuit. Each course features rest stops equipped with snacks, hydration, restrooms, support from the famous Tutu Crew mechanics, a medical team, and entertainment. More info on the scheduled routes can be found here: https://venusdemiles.com/courses.

Once riders have completed their courses, they will enjoy Venus de Miles’ epic Finish Festival. One of the experiences that sets Venus de Miles apart, the Finish Festival pampers participants with complimentary spa-style facial treatments, wellness activities, shopping, music, food, beverages, and more. Gear check is available at the beginning of the ride so riders can bring a change of shoes or clothes to fully relax at the festival following a day on their bikes.

Registration for the event can be found here, with regular pricing available until July 5th: https://raceroster.com/events/2024/86097/venus-de-miles-2024.

Venus de Miles riders fundraise for Greenhouse Scholars, a nonprofit focused on sustainable, generational community change. They are creating results through the transformative power of higher education by working with the most inspiring role models from our country’s lowest resourced communities.

Women from around Colorado and the nation participate annually in the Venus de Miles as a celebration of sisterhood, women’s empowerment, cycling, fitness and fun. For more information on the ride, to donate, or to shop the Venus de Miles store, please visit: https://www.venusdemiles.com/

About Venus de Miles

Venus de Miles began in Boulder County, Colorado in 2008. Its original organizers created a unique fundraising event just for women - a celebratory all-women’s bike ride and festival giving back to the community. The event quickly grew in popularity, bringing together thousands of active women. To date, more than 16,000 riders have participated in Venus de Miles and those numbers continue to grow as women invite their sisters, daughters, mothers, and friends to join them for this unforgettable day of fun, fitness and giving back to the community.
