Six Flags Magic Mountain Announces Title Sponsorship of Historic
'Hollywood Christmas Parade' World's Leading Thrill Park Presents
Annual Holiday Tradition Sunday, November 28 VALENCIA, Calif., Nov.
9 /PRNewswire/ -- The world-famous, star-studded Hollywood
Christmas Parade will get a new title this year as Six Flags Magic
Mountain becomes the title sponsor of the Hollywood tradition. "The
Six Flags family is as dedicated to children and families as the
Hollywood Christmas Parade and we are thrilled to be associated
with this annual holiday tradition," stated Del Holland, vice
president and general manager of Six Flags California. "We are

families." Entering its 73rd year, the Hollywood Christmas Parade
will take place on Sunday, November 28 from 5-7 p.m. Earvin "Magic"
Johnson will serve as Grand Marshal of this year's parade. Joining
Johnson in the parade will be comedian and star of "The George
Lopez Show" George Lopez, "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad
Garrett, Eva Langoria, a lead in the hit ABC series "Desperate
Housewives" and Chip and Kim McAllister, winners of the reality
series, "The Amazing Race 5." The Six Flags Magic Mountain
Hollywood Christmas Parade will be broadcast live on KTLA, Channel
5, the WB affiliate in Los Angeles and a Tribune Broadcasting
station. The parade will also be carried on Tribune-owned
television stations across the country. Each year, an estimated one
million people line the streets of Hollywood to watch the Christmas
Parade, while millions more watch the proceedings on television
through the stations in the syndication line-up as well as Armed
Forces Television. Comedic performer and renowned radio personality
Rick Dees will join "KTLA Morning News" anchor Michaela Pereira to
co-host the world-famous and star-studded parade. Six Flags thrills
come in many shapes and sizes -- race, spin, dive and fly on 16 of
the world's most electrifying coasters only found at Six Flags
Magic Mountain -- like Scream, Southern California's first
floorless coaster, X, the world's first four-dimensional coaster,
Goliath, still The Giant Among Coasters, Colossus, a classic
