Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video
machines, casino-management, interactive applications, and
networked systems for the global gaming industry, today announced
their Remote Gaming Server (RGS) product for online and mobile
gaming.
The RGS product enables access to Bally’s deep library of proven
casino-gaming content, via a one-time integration. These
interactive versions will offer enhanced bonusing, proven play
mechanics, progressives, and other outstanding features that only a
company with more than 80 years in the gaming industry can
provide.
“The Bally Remote Gaming Server allows new and existing
customers to seamlessly integrate Bally games into their online
portals,” said John Connelly, Bally’s Vice President of Business
Development. “When combined with Bally’s systems, the Bally
Interactive products will deliver a single-view of the player – on
the casino floor, at home, and on the move. The way in which these
products will be integrated across multiple platforms will provide
powerful cross-marketing tools for operators and dynamic bonusing
benefits for their players.”
In addition to wager-based gaming applications, traditional
casino operators without an online-gaming presence now have the
ability to supplement their land-based gaming with play-for-free
games using the Bally RGS. This technology will also be used as
part of Bally’s business-to-business social initiatives in
supporting customers when entering the social-gaming space. Bally
systems customers will see added benefits over the next 12 months
as the Company integrates its Interactive products into its
systems, including SDS™, ACSC™, and CMP™, designed for management
of casino, slots, and hospitality data as well as accounting,
player ratings, loyalty programs, and more.
“Bally’s integration of the RGS into our cloud-based mobile
platform gives operators the ability to incorporate Bally’s
play-for-free or wager-based games into their mobile offerings,”
said Bally Senior Vice President of Technology Bryan Kelly. “This
means they can deliver a true, virtualized casino experience for
players online and through their mobile devices.”
