World Travel Holdings plc (the "Company")

Grant of options

World Travel Holdings plc announces that M J Thompson, Finance Director, was
granted options on 7 January 2002 under the Company's Unapproved Employee
Share Option Scheme to subscribe 1,350,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company, exercisable at 2.875p per share normally between 8 January 2005 and 6
January 2012 inclusive. In addition, options to subscribe a further 3,300,000
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company were granted on 7 January 2002 to
senior employees of the Group on the same basis.
