The Board of Directors of Worldsec Limited announces that



Mr Sakae Hashizume has been appointed as Director of the Company effective from
2nd September 2005, and Mr Masao Hasegawa has resigned as Director of the
Company with effect from the same date.



Brief biographical note on Mr Sakae Hashizume is as follows:

Mr Hashizume, aged 42, is currently Chief Manager, Asset Management Business
Division of The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd.  Mr Hashizume joined The Bank of
Tokyo in 1986, which merged with The Mitsubishi Bank in 1996 to form the Bank of
Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd.  His professional experience includes several management
positions in the Bank's securities investment and asset management divisions.
Mr Hashizume holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Hitotsubashi University
in Tokyo.
