              Appointment of Paul Hamer as Chief Operating Officer


White Young Green Plc (WYG) today announces the appointment of Paul Hamer as
Chief Operating Officer and a Plc Board Director reporting to Chief Executive
Officer, Lawrie Haynes.  Paul will be joining White Young Green on 1 July, 2008.

Paul, aged 39, is Managing Director of VT Nuclear Services, part of the VT Group
Plc, and brings with him over 20 years experience in business management,
leadership and project delivery.  He previously held senior positions in the
contracting, oil, chemical and petrochemical sectors and has a proven track
record of leading multi-discipline teams to drive and shape market penetration,
integrate and optimize business operations and deliver profitable growth.

As COO of WYG Plc, Paul will have a critical role working with the CEO, Board
and Business Unit Managing Directors to provide operational leadership, ensure
best practice excellence across the business and build on the existing strengths
of the operational management team.


Lawrie Haynes, CEO said:

About Paul Hamer:


Paul started his career with Humphreys and Glasgow Ltd before moving into the
pharmaceutical, oil, gas and nuclear engineering sectors.  Having held a
succession of senior leadership roles including Director of Projects with
Costain Oil, Gas and Process Ltd, Director of Projects with BNFL Environmental
Services and more recently Managing Director of VT Nuclear Services, Paul is
perfectly placed to make a significant contribution to WYG's business
performance.  Paul holds an MSc (Dist) in Engineering Project Management and was
Chairman of BIL Solutions Ltd; Deva Manufacturing Ltd and BNG Rokkasho KK
(Japan) Ltd.
