Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility Share Dealings 
 
 
Pursuant to the Venture Production plc Long Term Share Incentive Plan (2008) 
(the Plan) which was approved by shareholders of the Company on 14 May 2008 an 
additional  provisional allocation of 125,000 ordinary shares (0.08% of the 
issued share capital) has been made to Jonathan Roger in recognition of his 
recent promotion to the role of Chief Operating Officer. His total provisional 
allocation under the Plan is now 500,000 ordinary shares (0.33% of the issued 
share capital). 
 
 
The performance conditions attaching to the above provisional allocations were 
set out in the Notice of Annual General Meeting dated 28 March 2008 and are 
included within the rules of the Plan.
