                    Vocalis announces agreement with AASP;                    
                 Additional ISPs to offer Vocalis SpeechMail                  
                    ISP Members Gain Phone Access to Email                    

Vocalis Group plc ("Vocalis"), the international speech technology group,
today announces a partnership agreement with the American Alliance of Service
Providers (AASP), an organisation for ISPs (Internet Service Providers). 
Following this agreement, AASP member ISPs will be able to offer Vocalis
SpeechMail to their customer base thereby providing Vocalis with access to new
ISP customers.

In addition, Vocalis is also pleased to announce that a number of new ISPs
will add Vocalis SpeechMail to their Internet services, including Destiny PC,
Clear Connections, Fastex, Village Online, Alti.Net, HiPlains.Net,
TexasFamily.Net, Konx.net, EON LLC, Quik Internet and Windmill.Net.

Vocalis SpeechMail enables telephone access to existing email accounts.  Users
send and retrieve email messages using a combination of advanced speech
recognition and text-to-speech technologies to manage email without a computer
or direct Internet access.
