               TOTAL SYSTEMS plc: CONTRACT GAIN

Total  Systems plc ("Total"), the financial services  software
supplier,  is  pleased to announce that Meon Villas  ("Meon"),
part  of  the premier specialist business division of  leading
tour  operator and travel retailer First Choice Holidays  PLC,
has  asked  it to develop an internet e-commerce  site.  Total
will be using its new e-commerce engine totalenow to power the
site.  Total  launched  totalenow in the first week  of  April
2000  and  has targeted customers in a broad range of markets,
most  notably  the  leisure & travel, retail,  insurance,  and
business services sectors. Using  totalenow customers are able
to   trade  their  goods  and  services  on  the  Internet  so
increasing sales volumes and the value of their businesses, at
a lower cost of sale.

Meon Villas provided holidays to over 30,000 people, mainly to
the  ABC 1 market, last year and now features over 600 villas,
most with private swimming pool. Destinations featured include
Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Florida
and  St  Lucia.  A typical Meon Villas package  would  include
flights,  self-drive  hire car, villa  accommodation,  welcome
food hamper, maid service and representation.

The  new  site will allow visitors to search for villas  on  a
range  of  criteria including location; party size;  and  most
importantly availability. The booking requests will be handled
electronically  to  provide  a  complete  solution  to  Meon's
customers.

Over 10 million people in the UK are using the Web to research
their  travel  and  holiday plans. With internet  usage  rates
amongst  the  highest for their customers Meon hope  that  the
site will provide an important benefit to a significant number
of their customers to help them locate the most suitable villa
for their holidays.
