                             Dividend Record Date

The directors intend to pay a final dividend of 2.8 pence per share on 21 May
1998 subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting on 13 May 1998, to
shareholders on the register at 14 April 1998, giving a total of 4.2 pence per
share for the year.
