                      TEG ENVIRONMENTAL PLC ("the Company")

                              DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

The Company announces that Richard Bilborough, Chief Executive Officer and a
Director of the Company, purchased 5,000 ordinary shares of the Company at a
price of 50p per share. Following this purchase, Mr Bilborough is interested in
262,010 ordinary shares representing approximately 1.60 per cent. of the issued
share capital of the Company. These shares were purchased on 16 July 2004,
authorised for allotment and allotted on 14 October 2004, but were not issued to
Mr Bilborough until 25 January 2005.

Application has been made for these shares to be admitted to trading on the AIM
market of the London Stock Exchange plc.
