Ted Baker was notified on the 21 October 1997, pursuant to Part V of the
Companies Act 1989, that Standard Life purchased 250,000 5p ordinary
shares in Ted Baker increasing its interest to 1,745,000 ordinary shares
which represents 4.229% of the issued ordinary share capital of Ted
Baker.
