Ted Baker plc ("Ted Baker" or the "Company")


Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock
Exchange for admission to the Official List for the block listing of 670,000 new
ordinary shares which may be issued from time to time under two of the Company's
share option schemes, comprising up to 164,972 new ordinary shares under the
1997 Executive Share Option Scheme and 505,028 new ordinary shares under the Ted
Baker Performance Share Plan.  These shares will rank pari passu with the
existing ordinary shares in issue.  It is expected that admission will become
effective on 4 July 2006.
