                                 Trading Update

The Geospatial Solutions Division has a significant contract with Ordnance
Survey GB ("OS") to develop a large part of OS's next generation of data capture
and management software. This programme is named "Phoenix".

Ordnance Survey has informed the Company that it will undertake a strategic
review of certain aspects of the Phoenix programme and that it intends to
suspend, from 11 December 2006, substantial work streams within the programme
pending completion of this strategic review. The Tadpole board's initial
estimates indicate that the suspended elements are likely to result in a
reduction of approximately 50% in the Geospatial Division's monthly billings.
The duration of the suspension and the outcome of the review are presently
unknown, however the Tadpole board estimates that OS is unlikely to complete its
strategic review in less than four to six months. The outcome of the review
remains uncertain but could result in a permanent suspension of the relevant
work streams.

The suspension of these elements of the contract will have a severe adverse
impact on the Company's trading performance and funding requirements. This
compounds the challenges previously announced regarding the funding of the
Streaming Division and the continuing uncertainty over the proposed DivestCap
transaction. Consequently, the board is urgently considering the options
available to the Company and further announcements will be made as appropriate.
