Notification of Major Interests in shares

Sports Internet Group PLC were notified on 17th May, 1999 by Henderson
Crosthwaite Corporate Finance, that following a sale by their client,
Sportsworld Media Group plc, ("Sportsworld") on 14th May, 1999 of 400,000
Ordinary Shares, Sportsworld is now interested in 400,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 4.54 per cent. of the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital.
