Sportsworld Media Group plc ("Sportsworld" or the "Company")

Sportsworld, the sports, media and entertainment services business is pleased
to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Uplink
Sport 2000 Limited and Uplink Media Limited (together "Uplink"), New Zealand
based companies specialising in the creation and production of sports programs
for television. The total consideration for the assets of Uplink is limited to
a maximum of NZ$ 8.8 million (#Stg 2.5 million), of which up to NZ$ 3.4
million (#Stg 0.9 million) may become payable through the issue of Sportsworld
ordinary shares of 1p each as part of an earn-out. Application for the listing
of any earn-out shares will be made at the appropriate time.
