SPG Media Group plc announces that its Chief Executive, Steve Nicholson, has
been placed on gardening leave with immediate effect.  Until a successor is
appointed Keith Sadler, Finance Director, has assumed responsibility for the
day-to-day running of the business.



There has been no significant change in the Company's trading or financial
position reported in the preliminary results for the year ended 31 March 2006,
announced on 15 June 2006.
