Offer by Siemens AG for Broadcastle plc - Approval from the Financial Services
Authority.



Siemens has been notified by the Financial Services Authority ("FSA") that the
FSA has granted its approval of the proposed acquisition of Broadcastle.  As
such, the condition to Siemens recommended offer for Broadcastle relating to the
obtaining of approval from the FSA has now been satisfied.


The first closing date of the Offer is 3:00 p.m. on 19 August 2005.
