SDL (LSE: SDL) today introduced industry specific language
platforms to help organizations rapidly and efficiently address the
needs of their global customers within the industries they operate.
The language platforms, a key extension to the Language pillar of
SDL’s Customer Experience Cloud (CXC), can be integrated to provide
seamless delivery of global customer experiences. The eight
industries include Travel and Hospitality, Finance, Life Sciences,
Global Marketing, IT & Software, Manufacturing, eCommerce and
Consumer Electronics.
Each industry has its own unique needs and challenges when it
comes to language and translation. For example, life sciences
companies require high quality, technical translations as they
exist in highly regulated markets where an inaccuracy could impact
