PortalWEB Contract Wins with International Enterprises

RapidCloud International plc (AIM:RCI), the computing services, web-hosting and web-solutions provider based in Southeast Asia, announces that the Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Emerge Systems (M) Sdn. Bhd., has won contracts with two major international companies for its newly launched PortalWEB product worth an aggregate RM 1 million (GBP0.18m) in the first year.

Contract Wins

The first of these PortalWEB contract wins is with one of the world's leading printing enterprises. Under the terms of the Software as a Service ("SaaS") contract, RapidCloud will build a framework and workflow system to handle internal purchase requisition, purchase orders, invoices, budgeting, contracts and assets management to automate the internal procurement approval processes.

The second contract is with a major Southeast Asian airline. Under the terms of the SaaS contract, RapidCloud will build an internal Training Management System ("TMS") on its PortalWEB platform. The TMS application will be developed to manage job posting, job recruitment, coaching, candidate profiling and on-the-job assessments. Job seekers, recruiters, trainers and administrative users will be granted different access controls and functionality to perform individual tasks. Dashboards for Business Intelligence analysis will provide an overview of the various key performance indicators of the entire placement processes enabling company-wide decision making.

PortalWEB is a proprietary secure web application platform developed in-house by RapidCloud and provides a platform for various applications such as content management, workflow management, enterprise search and business intelligence analysis. PortalWEB can be deployed as public cloud, on-premise cloud or a hybrid cloud solution thereby enabling customers to choose the right solution for their particular requirements.

Technologies such as PortalWEB are becoming more relevant for all types of enterprises that wish to deploy various workflow related systems across their enterprises. RapidCloud is able to provide consultancy, customisation, localisation, deployment and after-sales to its enterprise scale customers and government agency clients. Importantly, PortalWEB can also be integrated with other RapidCloud enterprise products to offer further cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to the Company.

Notice of Results

Further to the announcement on the 16 March, the Company now expects to announce its final results for the year ended 31 December 2014 in the week commencing 1 June 2015.
