                       QuestAir Directors purchase shares

BURNABY, B.C. - QuestAir Technologies Inc. (AIM: QAR; TSX: QAR), a developer and
supplier of advanced gas purification systems for refinery, industrial and fuel
cell markets, announced today that two of its Directors purchased shares in the
company on 2 February 2005.

Jonathan Wilkinson, QuestAir President and CEO purchased 5,000 common shares at
$1.39 per share, taking his personal holding in the company to 85,742 common
shares.

Also, QuestAir director Michael Brown purchased 5,000 common shares at $1.35 per
share, taking his personal holding to 65,014 common shares. Subsequent to the
purchase, Mr. Brown transferred the purchased stock to Nepal Management Limited,
a company beneficially owned by Mr. Brown.

This announcement is made pursuant to the rules governing the operation of AIM
as established by the London Stock Exchange Plc.
