The Company was informed on 16th August 2001 that BFS Small Companies Dividend
Trust plc has sold 25,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares")
representing 0.13% of Parkwood's issued share capital on 15th August 2001.


As a result of this transaction The Trust holds 1,175,000 Ordinary Shares,
representing 5.99% of Parkwood's issued share capital. The shares are
registered of HSBC Global Custody Nominees (UK) Limited A/C 863159.
