                 Director's Dealings and Holding(s) in Company

Petrolatina Energy Plc ("PetroLatina" or the "Company") an independent oil and
gas exploration, development and production company, focused on Latin America,
has received the following notifications of interest:

The Company was informed yesterday that the Millennium Global High Yield Fund, a
company of which Joseph Strubel, a non-executuve director of the Company, is
portfolio manager, assigned for value 12,012,853 ordinary shares in the Company
at 24p per share to Continental Capital SPC, a company of which the Millennium
Global High Yield Fund is currently the majority shareholder. Following this
transaction, the Millennium Global High Yield Fund no longer holds any shares in
the capital of the Company.

The Company has accordingly been notified that Continental Capital SPC has an
interest in 12,012,853 ordinary shares, representing 10.9 per cent. of the
issued share capital of the Company.
