Osmetech plc ("the Company") announces that on 20 March 2001, G B Kuenster was
granted 750,000 ordinary share options and 250,000 performance related
ordinary share options in the Company. All options were granted at an exercise
price of 11p and have an exercise period of between three and ten years.
