The Company was advised on 21st June 1999, pursuant to Section 198 of the
Companies Act 1985 (as amended), that, following a purchase of 250,000
Ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company, Norwich Union plc's holding is now
1,264,000, representing 4.08% of the issued share capital of the Company.

The interest is being disclosed on behalf of Norwich Union plc as the ultimate
holding company of the Norwich Union Group of Companies.
