following two purchases of shares in Tempus on 1 December 1999 totalling 50,000,
the Norwich Union Group and Norwich Union plc has an interest in 2,843,005
Tempus Shares, representing 4.01% of the issued capital of Tempus.

The notification stated the shares concerned to be registered as follows:
