DCS Group Plc yesterday received the following letter from
Norwich Union dated 25th October 1999:

"Notification of Interest in Shares/DCS Group Ord 25p

With reference to Section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 (as
amended) we are writing to inform you that following a
purchase totalling 180,000 shares on 22 October 1999, the
Norwich Union Group material interest in your company is as
follows:

Norwich Union Life Pensions B A/c                   1,066,400
Norwich Union Insurance Investment Ltd                 37,500
Norwich Union Pensions Management Ltd SC A/c          201,224
                                                    ---------
                                                    1,305,124

This holding represents 5.39% of your current issued share
capital of 24,211,506 as supplied to us by Extel.

The interests are being disclosed on behalf of Norwich Union
plc (As the ultimate holding company of the Norwich Union
Group of Companies) and the other companies referred to in
this letter of notice."
