UNAUDITED NET ASSET VALUE AS AT 30 APRIL 2006


Northern 2 VCT PLC announces that the unaudited net asset value per ordinary
share at 30 April 2006 was 90.1p. The net asset value is stated before deducting
the proposed final dividend of 4.5p per share in respect of the year ended 31
January 2006, which was approved by shareholders at the annual general meeting
on 18 May 2006 and paid on 2 June 2006 to shareholders who were on the register
on 24 March 2006.

The number of ordinary shares in issue at 30 April 2006 was 49,326,891.
