Newport Networks (LSE:NNG), the developer of carrier-class VoIP session controllers, is pleased to announce that its 1460 session controller (Software Release 1.5) was awarded a Certificate of Compatibility from Nortel(a). The 1460 session controller with Software Release 1.5, was awarded a Certificate of Compatibility after completing laboratory interoperability testing with Nortel's Multimedia Communication Server (MCS) 5200 (Software Release 3.0) and Communication Server (CS) 2000 (Software Release SN07).
