Metalrax, the niche supplier of specialist engineering and consumer durable 
products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerard Wainwright as 
Non-executive Director of Metalrax with effect from 2 September  2010. 
 
Gerard Bernard Wainwright, MIM, MIEx, FRSA, aged 60, currently holds a number of 
non executive positions including Hestia Management Services Limited and is 
senior independent director at Castings PLC. He has been chief executive of a 
wide range of private and public manufacturing companies for over twenty-five 
years.   His last role was as Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Sealine 
International until 2004. 
 
Andrew Walker, Chairman of Metalrax, said: 
 
"I am delighted to be welcoming Gerard Wainwright to the Board of Metalrax and 
look forward to working alongside him as we continue our progress with the 
redevelopment of the Company." 
 
Interim results for the half year ended 30th June 2010 will be announced on the 
7th September 2010.
