Metalrax, the niche supplier of specialist engineering and consumer durable
products, received notification on 9 April 2008, that Andrew Richardson, Chief
Executive Officer of the Company and who has PDMR status, purchased 36,000
ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ("Shares") at 28.0p per Share. Mr
Richardson's resultant interest in the Company comprises 56,000 shares,
representing approximately 0.0467% of the Company's issued ordinary share
capital. This transaction was effected on the London Stock Exchange.
