                            Appointment of Director

March Networks, a leading provider of Internet Protocol (IP)-based digital video
surveillance solutions is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Douglas
Horn and the resignation of Joe Culp and Patrick Smith as main board directors
of the Company. These changes are effective from 3 October 2006.

Alan Horn (55), qualified as a Chartered Accountant and is currently the
Chairman of Rogers Communications Inc., a communications and media company, and
President and Chief Executive Officer of Rogers Telecommunications Limited, a
position he has held since March 2006. Prior to becoming Chairman, Alan held the
position of Chief Financial Officer of Rogers Communications Inc. from September
1996 and was President and Chief Operating Officer of Rogers Telecommunications
Limited from 1990 to 1996. He holds a degree in Mathematics from University of
Aberdeen.

Alan is also a director of ATI Technologies Inc (a multi media technology
company), Rogers Telecommunications Limited, ATL Inc, Hermitage.com Inc, Samson
Investments Limited and Samson Holdings Limited.

Alan was a director of Blue Square Furniture Limited and AT&T Canada Inc., a
telecommunications company, where he was a representative of Rogers
Communications Inc. until October 2002 when he resigned following a change in
the ownership structure of AT&T Canada Inc. Subsequently in 2003, AT&T Canada
Inc. filed for protection under the Companies Creditors Arrangement Act.
