The Company received a notification dated 8 January 2007 from Barclays PLC
informing it that, as at 5 January 2007, Barclays PLC (through its legal
entities Barclays Global Investors Limited, Barclays Life Assurance Company
Limited, Barclays Capital Securities Limited, Barclays Bank PLC and Gerrard
Limited) had a total interest in 35,332,169 ordinary shares representing 13.04%
of the issued share capital of the Company.
