Further to the announcement made on the 6th July 2005, MKM Group Plc provides
the following update.



The Company is currently in the process of closing the proposed placing and open
offer and pending the completion of the associated legal processes will shortly
make a further announcement detailing the terms of the placing.  At this time
the Company will also announce its preliminary results for the year ending 31st
March 2005.
