    Holdings in company

    The Company was informed on 4 September that on 15 July 2008 FDS Pharma Ass ("FDS") and related parties (together being "FDS Group")
disposed of 229,648 ordinary shares of 0.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") at 22.5 pence each. The Company was also in formed on 4 September that
on 18 July FDS Group sold 120,000 Ordinary Shares at 19.5 pence each. Following these disposals FDS Group is interested in 43,355,316
Ordinary Shares, representing 36.21 per cent of the issued Ordinary Share capital in the Company.

    Lipoxen was also notified on 4 September 2008 that the FDS has changed their custodian which has resulted in a change in the legal
ownership of 32,584,485 Ordinary Shares. However, the beneficial ownership of these Ordinary Shares has not changed. As a consequence FDS
Group still has a beneficial interest in 43,355,316 Ordinary Shares representing 36.21 per cent of the issued Ordinary Share capital in the
Company.
