Share acquisition by director following exercise of share award

London Mining, the UK based developer of mines for the global steel industry, announces it received notice on 3 September 2012 that Rachel Rhodes exercised an award under the terms of the London Mining Plc Long Term Incentive Plan over 85,000 ordinary shares on 3 September 2012. The award was a nil-cost option. Subject to the Trustees approval the shares are to be satisfied by the London Mining Plc Long Term Incentive Trust.

After the shares are transferred, Ms Rhodes will hold 85,000 shares in London Mining and options over 1,229,592 shares in London Mining Plc.
