                                 Share Placing


Leisure & Gaming Plc ("L&G" or the "Company"), the betting and gaming group, has
raised #1.75 million before expenses, by way of a placing, arranged by Blue Oar
Securities Plc, with institutional and other investors of 13,461,540 new
ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Placing Shares')
at 13 pence per new ordinary share.

The net proceeds of the placing will enable the Company to increase operational
working capital and drive incremental growth by launching new products
throughout the Betshop Italia network.

The new ordinary shares will rank pari passu in all respects with existing
shares, and the placing is conditional on the admission of the Placing Shares to
trading on AIM ("Admission"), which is expected on 19 June 2007. On Admission,
the Company will have 84,906,692 Ordinary Shares in issue.

The above figure (84,906,692) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for
the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify
their interest in, or a change to their interest in, L&G under the FSA's
Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
