Robert McDonald appointed as Finance Director. 
 
 
The Board of Luminar Group Holdings plc is pleased to announce the appointment 
of Robert McDonald as the Company's Finance Director. He joins the Company and 
the Board on 16 March 2009. 
 
 
Robert, (aged 54) has over 25 years of experience of licensed retail. From 
1982 he had various roles with Allied Domecq where from 1995 he was Finance 
Director of Allied Domecq Inns until that Company was acquired by Punch Taverns 
in 1999. He then became Finance Director of Punch Taverns plc and was a senior 
member of the Punch team at its Listing on the London Stock Exchange in 2002 and 
helped build its estate to over 8000 pubs. He retired from Punch in 2007. 
 
 
He was briefly Group Finance Director at Woolworths Group Plc being appointed on 
3rd November 2008 shortly before the Group went into administration. He resigned 
from that position on  28th January 2009.
